We will depart for 5 nights (2 nights in Killarney and 3 nights in Dublin, Ireland for an amazing tour and the opportunity to tailgate with fellow Wisconsin fans for the Pittsburgh vs Wisconsin game at Aviva Stadium on August 28th, 2027.
ITINERARY:
Tue, Aug-24 DEPART THE UNITED STATES
Depart from Chicago or your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.
Wed, Aug-25 DUBLIN ARRIVAL
After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach.
Breakfast at Local Venue
We will stop to have breakfast with our group at a local restaurant or pub.
Blarney Castle Estate
We will drive to Blarney, where you can visit Blarney Castle, built almost 600 years ago by Ireland’s greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy. Climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence”. Legend says that anyone who kisses the Blarney Stone will receive the gift of gab, or the ability to speak with fluency and persuasiveness. This has to be good luck for Wisconsin!

Football Game
After an independent dinner, head to Aviva Stadium, a sporting stadium with a capacity for 51,700 spectators. It is also commonly known as Lansdowne Road while UEFA refers to it as the Dublin Arena. The stadium opened May 14, 2010 and is built on the site of the old Lansdowne Road Venue. Pittsburgh will play the Wisconsin in what is hoped to be an epic game.

After a Wisconsin Victory on Saturday! Set off with a local guide who will show you around Dublin. The city has been molded through the centuries by economic, political and artistic influences that have shaped its architecture.
Trinity College (Book of Kells)
Visit Trinity College, founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. Walk along the grounds that notable alumni such as Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker, and Samuel Beckett had attended. Stop and see the Old Library, which houses the Book of Kells, a 9th century illuminated manuscript of the four gospels.
Guinness Storehouse
Tour Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness.
Dublin Free Time
Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or sightsee and explore Dublin. There are plenty of museums of Irish interest such as the National Museum, the National Gallery or Epic Ireland. There are also plenty of shops along Nassau Street and the pedestrianized Grafton Street or Henry Street. You may like to explore Temple Bar or visit some of the traditional pubs. This evening, you might like to sample one of the many fine dinner venues that Dublin has to offer.

Mon, Aug-30 DUBLIN DEPATURE
All too soon, your vacation in Ireland has come to an end. Transfer to Dublin Airport in plenty of time to check in for your flight. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the United States.
